The City of Luxembourg (VdL) has announced that the first garage sale of the 2026 season will take place on Sunday 5 April from 10:00 to 17:00 at Place Guillaume II in Luxembourg-Ville.
According to VdL, the garage sale is a large open-air event allowing private individuals to occasionally display and sell items they no longer need. It differs from the Flea Market, which is reserved for professional vendors. Combined with a Sunday stroll in the city, the event attracts bargain hunters and those looking for original and unusual items.

- 7 June 2026 - Place Guillaume II
- 5 July 2026 - Place Guillaume II
- 6 September 2026 - Avenue de la Gare
- 4 October 2026 - Place Guillaume II
Applications must be submitted online to the City of Luxembourg’s Department of Public Spaces, Festivals and Markets (Service Espace public, fêtes et marchés - EFM) via the registration form available on www.vdl.lu between the first and tenth day of the month preceding the respective garage sale. Registrations for the April event will therefore open on Sunday 1 March 2026. Participation is free of charge. Pitches are allocated according to the date of receipt of the application, with residents of the City of Luxembourg given priority.
