On Friday 3 October 2025, the non-profit organisation Fairtrade Lëtzebuerg has announced that, on the occasion of the transfer of power in Luxembourg, its fair trade partners have highlighted their creativity and expertise through exclusive packaging celebrating this historic moment.
Les Ateliers du Tricentenaire, a long-standing partner of Fairtrade Lëtzebuerg, presented their Fairtrade praline boxes “Empreinte Grand-Ducale”, specially designed for the event.
Available in boxes of 36 and 9 pralines, these sets are decorated with a personalised banner created in collaboration with artist Jacques Schneider, Knight of the Order of Civil and Military Merit of Adolphe of Nassau. This initiative represents a unique, local and fair way to celebrate the Trounwiessel.
According to the NGO, the praline boxes have been available since 24 September 2025 in the shops in Bissen and Walferdange, as well as 24/7 in the chocolate vending machine at the entrance of the Bar à Chocolats in Walferdange and on Letzshop. For orders or enquiries, Les Ateliers du Tricentenaire can be contacted via info@chocolatsducoeur.lu (Bissen) and bar@chocolatsducoeur.lu (Walferdange).
Fairtrade Lëtzebuerg added that its coffee partners, including Cactus (Bruno), Feierboun Coffeeroasters and CafeTree Coffee Truck & Roastery, have also unveiled commemorative limited edition packaging. These editions highlight both the transfer of power and the historic link between Fairtrade coffee and Luxembourg, reminding consumers that behind every cup are producers committed to fairer trade.
The NGO noted that these exceptional Fairtrade-certified coffees are available from its partner roasters in Luxembourg.
