Telstar Scouts will be celebrating St George's Day on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April 2020 with a St George's Day BSO Area Virtual Camp.

St George is the patron saint of England (amongst other countries) and, according to legend, tamed and slew a dragon that demanded human sacrifices; the saint thereby rescues the princess chosen as the next offering.

To do so, all they have to do is to pack a bag, set up camp either in their garden or in a den inside their home, sleep in it overnight, assist with cooking a meal, prepare a campfire (either real or virtual), take part in fun activities ans Scouting activities towards Challenge and Activity badges, and connect with other BSO Scouts across the world and with Scouts in the UK.

Prizes will be awarded for thinks like best campsite and completing activities successfully.
