The Big Christmas Wind Orchestra and Choir has announced that it will perform a concert in Echternach on Sunday 15 December between 12:15 – 14:45.
The event will comprise what has been described as basically a scratch orchestra and choir; there is still time to join up, with instrumentalists and singers welcome. People of all abilities are encouraged to join together to make music.

Background
The original UK Big Christmas Wind Orchestra was formed in 2012 by friends who wanted to bring a few musically keen people together for a grand Christmas play-through of favourite songs. It was so successful that they carried on and grew and grew, including welcoming singers from 2017.
Conducted by Matthew Hardy, musicians from London and around the UK come together in an annual performance, mixing amateurs and professionals, with a real focus on bringing people into regular making music through an enormous, inspirational event.
As of 2023, the event also takes place in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg annually.
