On Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July 2024, the Polo Club Luxembourg celebrated its 20th anniversary with the eleventh edition of the Coupe du Luxembourg international polo tournament in Luxembourg-Merl.
The winner of the eleventh Coupe du Luxembourg - Birger Strom was the Argentine team Augustinus Bader. According to the organisers, the team “put on an incredible show in front of 1,994 delighted spectators” over the weekend.
In addition to polo games (with players coming from Luxembourg, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and Argentina), members of the public could enjoy entertainment, food and beverages throughout the weekend. Highlights included a White & Gold Garden Party Aperinetwork on Saturday evening.
The twelfth edition of the Coupe du Luxembourg is scheduled to take place on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 July 2025.
