POST Luxembourg has announced that the finals of season 5 of the POST Esports Masters competition are taking place at Forum Geesseknäppchen in Luxembourg-Merl on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July 2024.
During the finals, the best players from Luxembourg and the Greater Region will compete in three games: League of Legends, Valorant and Rocket League.
After rigorous qualifying phases and an online championship, the following teams have qualified for the finals:
- League of Legends: Royal Family Esports (LU); Vace Esports (LU); Snooze Esports (LU)
- Valorant: Siko Esports (NL); BLX x BCG (BE/NL); Royal Family (LU)
- Rocket League: Royal Family (LU); Sentient Esports (LU); Snooze Esports (LU); Team Serene (LU)
In addition to the sports challenge, the POST Esports Masters finals pursue a charitable goal: to raise funds for Télévie (cancer research). Each visitor and spectator will have the opportunity to make a personal donation via a QR code and a link displayed in the room as well as on the livestream during the two days of the finals.
In addition to following the final matches live, the public will have access to various activities for all ages, offered by Luxembourg gaming associations. Activities include: driving simulators; free access video games; challenges and competitions; shows and surprises on stage.
Access to the event is free. However, visitors are asked to register in advance on www.postesportsmasters.lu in order to guarantee entry. A food truck and drink stands will also be present on-site.
The finals will also be broadcast in their entirety on the competition's Twitch platform: postesportsmasters.
