On 20 and 21 January 2024, the POST Esports Masters, in collaboration with RIFT Asbl, invited all official Luxembourg esports organisations to an “Esports Bootcamp”.
Following the POST Esports Masters strategy of promoting esports in Luxembourg and supporting local teams, this event aims to support organisations and players in their professionalisation and to raise awareness on different themes.
The Lultzhausen youth hostel organised this boot camp in an immersive environment, with intensive training and the creation of content on the agenda. It allowed around thirty participants to improve in various aspects of esports. The boot camp notably proposed:
• professional gaming courses taught by experts in crucial areas such as creating and managing an esports brand, social media management, sponsorship, content creation, as well as fair play and integrity;
• intensive specialised training provided by experienced coaches on the flagship games of POST Esports Masters (League of Legends, Valorant and Rocket League).
POST Esports Masters Season 5 will feature:
- League of Legends, qualifications on Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 January 2024 and a championship from 5 February to 3 March 2024. Prize Pool: €7,500
- Valorant, qualifications on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 February 2024 and a championship from 18 March to 14 April 2024. Prize Pool: €7,500
- Rocket League, qualifications on 6 and 7 April 2024 and a championship from 29 April to 26 May 2024. Prize Pool: €5,000
The three best teams from each championship will have the opportunity to compete on stage during a finals event which will take place in Luxembourg in June or July 2024.
