The Luxembourg centre against radicalisation respect.lu has launched a call to participate in the "Respect Song Contest", organised in collaboration with Eldoradio and De Läb's David Galassi.

All composers, singer-songwriters and musicians in Luxembourg are invited to write and submit a four-minute (maximum) song, in their choice of language, on the theme of RESPECT, i.e. resilience, equality, solidarity, perspectives, empathy, communication and tolerance.

The submitted works must reflect the values and vision of respect.lu. The winning songs will be presented and used in 2022 on the occasion of the organisation's fifth anniversary.

First prize is an professional audio and video recording. The second and third prize winners will each get a professional audio recording in a recording studio.

The deadline to register is 1 December 2021.

A jury, composed of representatives of Luxembourg's Ministry of Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region (tbc), Eldoradio, David Galassi (De Läb), SOS Radicalisation asbl and respect.lu, will then select the three winning songs.
