On Monday 3 February 2025, Luxembourg’s Ministry of the Economy announced a new call for projects to support companies in financing charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs).
This call is open from Monday 3 February to Tuesday 3 June 2025 and, with a maximum budget of €5 million, aims to support companies in financing charging station projects, both publicly and privately accessible, with a charging capacity of at least 175 kilowatts. Selected companies will be able to benefit from a subsidy covering up to 50% of their investment.
Luxembourg’s Minister of the Economy, SME, Energy and Tourism, Lex Delles, said: "This new call for projects demonstrates our ongoing commitment to supporting companies in their transition to electric mobility. Investing in modern charging infrastructure is essential to achieve our climate objectives and strengthen the competitiveness of our companies."
Interested companies, regardless of their size, are invited to submit their projects at MyGuichet.lu from Monday 3 February 2025. The specifications detailing the conditions of participation are available on the website.
Companies are encouraged to call on the expertise of Luxinnovation and the Klima-Agence in order to benefit from support in the design and implementation of their projects.
Over the last five calls for projects, 112 projects have been selected, with aid granted amounting to €19,394,697, allowing the installation of 1,636 terminals, with a total capacity of 93,581 kW.
