Luxembourg's Ministry of Health and Social Security has announced a change of address for the out-of-hours medical centre (maison médicale) in Luxembourg City.
As of Monday 20 October 2025, the on-call medical centre for central Luxembourg, currently located at 5 Rue des Primeurs in Strassen, will return to its original premises at 23 Val Fleuri, L-1526 Luxembourg.
Until Sunday 19 October 2025 inclusive, the Strassen medical centre will remain open according to its usual hours. As of 20 October, this site will close permanently.
The Grand Duchy has three out-of-hours medical centres, open Monday to Friday from 20:00 to midnight and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 08:00 to midnight. These centres are located at the following addresses:
- Luxembourg City: 23 Val Fleuri, L-1526 Luxembourg (from 20 October)
- Esch-sur-Alzette: 3-5 Avenue du Swing, L-4367 Belvaux (Esch-Belval)
- Ettelbruck: 110 Avenue Lucien Salentiny, L-9080 Ettelbruck
The ministry recalled that these medical centres welcome patients when their health requires general medical care and they cannot wait for their general practitioner / doctor's office to reopen.
