On Monday afternoon, Minister of Health, Paulette Lenert, announced that the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in Luxembourg has risen to 1,988, including 22 deaths resulting from the virus.
This represents an increase of 38 new cases and one additional death since Sunday. 202 coronavirus patients are currently hospitalised, with 31 in intensive care. In the meantime, 80 patients have been released from hospital.
The Health Minister confirmed that a total of 16,199 tests have been carried out to date.
