On Thursday 13 November 2025, Luxembourg’s Ministry of Culture announced the launch of a grant for the publication of a literary work, accessible through a biennial call for proposals.

As part of the ministry's commitment to literary creation, this programme aims to provide financial support to authors and illustrators whose works stand out for their literary quality. Eligible works must be written in Luxembourgish, French, German and/or English. The objective is to encourage both established creators and emerging talents to pursue and develop their writing and illustration practice.

The call for applications is open to professional Luxembourgish authors and illustrators, residing in Luxembourg or with strong cultural ties to the Grand Duchy, who have published a literary work with a print run of at least 100 copies with a professional Luxembourgish or foreign publishing house within the last twelve months.

The deadlines for submitting an application are 15 March 2026 and 15 September 2026, at midnight.
