On Friday 18 October 2024, Luxembourg's Ministry of Culture launched a call for literary projects eligible for a financial bonus.

As part of the reform of its subsidy policy, the Ministry of Culture is now granting a bonus for the publication of a literary creation via a biennial call to financially support authors and illustrators of publications of quality literary works in Luxembourgish, French, German and/or English. The subsidy is allocated as an incentive; unlike the ministry's other subsidies, this bonus is granted after completion of the project.

The objective is to encourage established and/or emerging authors and illustrators in their writing practice. The call is addressed to professional Luxembourgish authors and illustrators, residing in Luxembourg or having a strong cultural anchorage in the Grand Duchy, who have published a literary work with a minimum print run of 100 copies by a professional Luxembourgish or foreign publishing house in the last twelve months.

Further information and details are provided (in French) on the website of the Ministry of Culture.
