Credit Suisse Asset Management has announced the appointment of Daniela Klasen-Martin as Head of ManCo Luxembourg and CEO of Credit Suisse Fund Management S.A.

Daniela Klasen-Martin has joined Credit Suisse as a Managing Director to assume the role of Head of the Luxembourg-based Management Company and CEO of Credit Suisse Fund Management S.A. In these roles, she succeeds Rudolf Koemen who will take on a new role within Credit Suisse Asset Management.

Ms Klasen-Martin has almost 30 years of professional experience across several countries and industries, including 24 years in the financial services industry in Luxembourg. She holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and International Economics from Linköping University in Sweden.

She has been active in the Luxembourg fund industry since 1997. Having held senior positions within finance and general management, she has extensive knowledge in funds, including non-financial assets, such as real estate and private equity, and is actively involved in industry associations such as ILA (Luxembourg institute of directors), and ALFI (Luxembourg funds association). She is frequently invited to speak at industry events.

Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Daniela Klasen-Martin spent eleven years at Crestbridge as Group Head of Management Company Services and Managing Director of the Luxembourg Office, as well as nine years at Schroders Investment Management Luxembourg as Head of Finance.
