Tom Theobald Appointed Director of Development and Promotion of Luxembourg's Financial Centre

On Monday 28 January 2019, Luxembourg's Minister of Finance, Pierre Gramegna, announced the appointment of Tom Theobald as director of development and promotion of the financial centre within the Ministry of Finance.

The current deputy director of Luxembourg for Finance (Luxembourg's financial centre development agency) will take up his duties in the ministry on 1 March 2019.
In this new role, Tom Theobald will contribute to define and implement the government's development and promotion strategy, in close collaboration with Luxembourg for Finance.

Before joining Luxembourg for Finance in 2014, Tom Theobald was a consultant in charge of communication and press relations at the Association of Banks and Bankers (ABBL), which he joined in 2008.

Tom Theobald, 41, holds a Ph.D. in English Literature from Newcastle University in England.
