On Monday 29 July 2024, Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy, in collaboration with Klima-Agence, officially launched the energieauer.lu website, a platform for exploring and understanding Luxembourg's energy trends through graphs.
Luxembourg's Minister of the Economy, SMEs, Energy and Tourism, Lex Delles, explained: "The development of renewable energies is a priority for this government. Thanks to the energieauer.lu platform, everyone can monitor the achievement of the high targets set in the national energy and climate plan. It is an important tool that strengthens transparency and encourages everyone to take an interest in the energy transition and contribute to it."
The energieauer.lu website highlights the key indicators linked to the objectives of Luxembourg's integrated national energy and climate plan (PNEC), in order to encourage active participation in the energy transition. Through various graphs updated daily, everyone can find out about the evolution of energy consumption and production in Luxembourg: electricity consumption and imports; natural gas consumption and imports; electricity production in Luxembourg; evolution of solar and wind energy; biogas production; forecast of the national electricity load; number of public charging points (for electric vehicles) in Luxembourg.
The energieauer.lu platform is currently available in English, French, German and Luxembourgish.
