On Thursday 27 June 2019, Luxembourg-based energy supplier Enovos signed a partnership agreement with the NGO PADEM with the aim of co-financing a major project supplying electricity to schools in Senegal over a four-year period.

Aiming at the electrification of institutions while improving the safety of children and staff, this project will contribute significantly to the quality of life and future prospects of its beneficiaries.

Magali Getrey, founder of PADEM, commented: "Finally, students and teachers will be able to study and teach in appropriate conditions. Imagine having to go four kilometres back and forth on a bike just to make photocopies!"

Over the next four years, Enovos will provide financial support for the project, transmit its expertise in electrification and promote the project in all its forms according to its motto "Energy for today. Caring for tomorrow".

At the signing of this partnership, Claude Simon, Head of Energy Sales at Enovos, stated: "This project reflects the values of our company and the commitment we want to show on a daily basis. In addition, our employees will be able to participate in the project, which will create real cohesion through a shared commitment".
