The Kultur | lx - Arts Council Luxembourg has announced that, in October and November 2025, a series of Luxembourgish artists will perform at major showcase festivals across Europe, with one act also scheduled to appear in the United States.
In its statement, Kultur | lx noted that these international showcases aim to highlight Luxembourg’s diverse music scene and provide local artists with opportunities to connect with industry professionals and audiences abroad.
The October programme begins in Vienna, Austria, where the Waves Vienna Festival will host several Luxembourgish acts: Sheebaba at rhiz on Thursday 2 October, DasRADIAL at Kramladen on Friday 3 October and Josh Island at Fanialive on Saturday 4 October.
For the first time, Luxembourg will also be represented at the NBG Pop Festival in Nuremberg, one of Germany’s leading platforms for emerging artists. From Thursday 9 to Saturday 11 October, the festival will feature over forty acts from across Europe, with Maz Univerze performing at Kulturkellerei on Friday 10 October and Francis of Delirium at Kunsthalle on Saturday 11 October.
Luxembourgish band Tuys will appear at the Changeover Festival in Belgrade, Serbia, on Friday 10 October before heading to Spain to perform at Pro Weekend Festival in Castellón on Friday 17 October.
Across the Atlantic, Jackie Moontan will take part in the Mondo NYC Festival on Tuesday 14 October at the Berlin Under A venue in New York.
In November, Sheebaba will return to the stage at the Explore the North Festival in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands, which is recognised for its multidisciplinary approach combining music, literature and the arts.
