The Indian Association Luxembourg (IAL) has announced that its Divali 2024 event is being held at LuxExpo in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on Saturday 26 October 2024 from 17:30 onwards.
Diwali, India's biggest and most important holiday of the year, is the Hindu festival of lights, with variations celebrated in other Indian religions. It symbolises the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. In India, the festival lasts from 29 October to 3 November, with the most important day 1 November 2024.
In Luxembourg, the event is traditionally a family affair and will comprise dance performances, Bollywood music and DJ, and a buffet dinner.
Tickets cost €50 for members (€80 for non-members), with children € 25 (U5s free).
