The British-Luxembourg Society (BLS) has announced that it is offering various art and Luxembourgish language courses to BLS members.

The art courses, taught by Elsa Charalampous, will offer participants of different levels a chance to learn how to paint watercolour pictures in a friendly and informal atmosphere.

The beginners' "Practical Drawing and Watercolour Course" will run from 18:30 to 20.00 on the following Tuesdays: 29 March, 26 April, 3, 10, 17 and 31 May and 7, 14, 21 and 28 June 2022.

The intermediate  "Advanced Water Colour Techniques Course" will run from 18:30 to 20:00 on the following Wednesdays: 30 March, 27 April, 4, 11 and 18 May and 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 June 2022.

The cost is €80 for ten x 90-minute lessons. The teacher will advise participants about materials.

For BLS members wishing to practise their conversational skills in Luxembourgish, two Zoom courses are available. Weekly one-hour lessons will take place on Friday evenings, strating on 1 April 2022. Christelle Schiltz will lead these courses.

The intermediate course will take place from 18:00 to 19:00 (B1-level textbook), while the beginners course will run from 19:00 to 20:00 (A2-level textbook).

The cost for ten lessons is €50.

Course dates: 1, 22 and 29 April, 6, 13 and 30 May and 3, 10, 17 and 24 June 2022.
