The Kazakhstan-Luxembourg Cooperation (KLC) has announced that it is organising an online webinar on the exhibition "Gold of the Great Steppe", on display at the Fitzwilliam Museum of the University of Cambridge, on Wednesday 10 November 2021 from 18:00.

This exhibition features hundreds of gold and other artifacts from the Saka civilisation which flourished from the 8th to 2nd century BC on the territory of modern Kazakhstan.

Saltanat Amirova, a researcher-archaemetallurgist at the University of Cambridge who brought the artifacts to the university's Fitzwilliam Museum will provide first-hand information about the exhibition during this webinar. Ms Amirova will explain its importance in the world of archaeology and present this civilisation which remains little known outside Kazakhstan.

The webinar can be accessed (via Webex) using the link: https://unilu.webex.com/unilu/j.php?MTID=m83456dfabb367df36eb53406623f6570.
