On Thursday 30 October 2025, Stëmm vun der Strooss, the Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation supporting people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable members of society, reported that Fraen & Mammen Wooltz had donated €3,000 to support the Schweesdrëps therapeutic and professional reintegration workshop.

The cheque was presented during the Fraen & Mammen Wooltz General Assembly on Thursday 23 October 2025, held at Home St Sebastien in Niederwiltz. Schweesdrëps Presidents Chantal Roemer and Pascale Fautsch, together with Secretary Sylvie Koob and Treasurer Josiane Devillet, handed over the donation to Alexandra Oxacelay, Director of Stëmm vun der Strooss, in the presence of members gathered for the event.

The donation was raised mainly through the November 2024 bazaar and the Sebastiani Fest, which took place in the Saints Peter and Paul Church in Wiltz. The annual Sebastiani Fest commemorates the vow made during the Second World War, when Abbé Prosper Colling and the people of Wiltz promised to build a sanctuary in honour of the Sacred Heart and Our Lady of Fátima in the days before the liberation of Wiltz in January 1945.

Before the handover, Alexandra Oxacelay presented the professional reintegration activities carried out by the Schweesdrëps workshop. She explained that the donation from Fraen & Mammen Wooltz will contribute to the professionalisation and operational development of the workshop, as well as to improving working conditions for people in reintegration.

The Schweesdrëps therapeutic workshop offers sports clubs the opportunity to have their uniforms cleaned. 40 sports clubs, comprising more than 300 teams, use this service, with an average of 5,000 uniforms collected, washed and returned each week. This activity requires organisation, punctuality and precision to keep pace with the sports calendar.
