On Wednesday 29 October 2025, Europa Donna Luxembourg Asbl reported that it had recently received a €1,730 donation from FC Differdange 03 in support of the “Pink October” breast cancer awareness campaign.
The cheque was presented during half-time of the men’s football match between FC Differdange 03 and Swift Hesperange, which took place on Sunday 19 October 2025. According to the association, the funds will be fully dedicated to supportive care services aimed at helping women with breast cancer better manage the side effects of treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
“Thank you for your constant commitment and dedication, which improve the lives of so many people. Your work is a true source of inspiration for all of us. It is a great pleasure to support Europa Donna’s cause,” said Fabrizio Bei, President of FC Differdange 03.
Dany Frank, Vice-President of Europa Donna Luxembourg, expressed her gratitude: “We are deeply moved by this generous and exemplary gesture, which will greatly contribute to supporting women affected by breast cancer. This partnership is particularly meaningful, as sport is a key pillar of prevention. A big thank you to Mr Bei and to all the spectators.”
Alongside the match, an information and awareness stand was set up to inform women about prevention practices, including self-examination and the Mammography Programme run by the Ministry of Health.
