The 2026 edition of Relais pour la Vie (Relay for Life), organised by Fondation Cancer, will take place at the Coque National Sports and Culture Centre in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March 2026.
This annual event will once again bring together thousands of participants in person at the Coque and remotely across Luxembourg and beyond, through connected teams joining online.
Online registrations will open on Thursday 23 October 2025, from 07:00, via www.relaispourlavie.lu. A maximum of 325 teams will be able to take part in the 24-hour relay at the Coque, while an unlimited number of connected teams may join from other locations.
“The Relay for Life has become an unmissable event. It is a moment when solidarity comes to life and when every participant helps show patients and their families that they are not alone,” emphasised Margot Heirendt, Director of the Fondation Cancer.
Each team can register online and pay a €15 fee per participant. During the 24-hour relay, team members take turns walking or running to show support for people affected by cancer and their loved ones.
In addition to participation, teams are encouraged to raise donations for the Trophies of Hope, supporting Fondation Cancer’s three core missions: helping people affected by cancer, promoting prevention and awareness, and funding research.
