Through their sponsored bicycle tour along the river Moselle, Marelle Hart, Europe Development Liaison at Save One Life, and her partner Ton Roodhuijzen, have raised €530 for Save One Life, an organisation which helps people with blood disorders in developing countries.
On Saturday 12 September 2020, Marelle and Ton cycled from Wasserbilligerbruck (Germany), where they live, to Remich (Luxembourg) and back, as part of their "Wheels for the World" sponsored bicycle tour.
The bike tour raised €530, an amount which Marelle and Ton decided to double to €1,060. People also donated directly on the website.
"Wheels for the World" saw 140 people across the globe embark on a similar bike tour at the same time. The total amount raised will be announced on the Save One Life website.
