The Grand Ducal Police have reported several recent thefts from vehicles in different parts of Luxembourg.
One incident occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday 10 March 2026 in Hosingen, where a theft from a vehicle parked in a car park was reported. According to initial information, an as yet unidentified perpetrator gained access to the interior of the vehicle and stole a wallet.
Another incident was reported during the night of Wednesday 11 March 2026 in Avenue Jean-Pierre Pescatore in Luxembourg City. According to initial information, a perpetrator gained access to the vehicle and stole, among other items, a backpack.
Investigations have been launched in both cases.
