On Monday 9 March 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported that two drug dealers had been arrested following separate incidents in Luxembourg City on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March.

According to the initial information, on Saturday morning a police patrol noticed a man on Rue Joseph Junck in Luxembourg-Gare who was suspected of being a drug dealer. He was subsequently subjected to a check. During a search of his person, ecstasy pills and cash were found, secured and confiscated.

On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the individual concerned was arrested and brought before an investigating judge.

On Sunday morning, the police were notified of the discovery of a bag on Rue des Bains in Luxembourg-Ville which possibly contained drugs. The suspected owner of the bag was located shortly afterwards at the scene by a police patrol. As he behaved suspiciously, it was decided to subject him to a check. During the check, officers seized a drug pellet. Cash and a mobile phone were also confiscated.

On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the suspected drug dealer was arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Monday 9 March.
