The Grand Ducal Police have reported that they apprehended a suspected drug dealer in Luxembourg City on Saturday 7 March 2026.
At approximately 10:45 on Saturday, an individual was stopped and searched near the Abrigado addiction treatment centre on suspicion of drug possession and trafficking.
The individual was unable to produce identification and appeared nervous, according to the police. A search uncovered several grams of cocaine, a large quantity of Lyrica (pregabalin) pills, a scale and cash. A rapid cocaine test came back positive.
On the orders of the Public Prosecutor's Office, the individual was arrested and brought before an investigating judge. The drugs, cash and scale were confiscated.
