On Monday 2 March 2026, the Grand Ducal Police announced a number of speed checks as part of efforts to improve road safety and to raise awareness among as many road users as possible.
The checks are scheduled in Contern (Rue de Syren), Schléiwenhaff (Rue de la Vallée) and Pütscheid (Haaptstrooss), depending on weather conditions.
The inspections are taking place following the speed controls carried out on Sunday 1 March 2026 in Echternach (Route de Luxembourg), Niederkorn (Route de Pétange), Luxembourg (Rue de Neudorf) and Steinsel (Rue Basse).
