According to the police, at around 17:30 on Thursday, officers received a report of a fraud incident on Rue d’Athus in Pétange. A young man reportedly rang the victim’s doorbell claiming to be collecting donations for a charitable organisation. On Thursday evening, a burglary occurred at a single-family home on Rue des Jardins in Bereldange, where, according to initial information, unknown perpetrators gained entry through a window and rummaged through several rooms before escaping with stolen items.
