On Saturday 15 November 2025, the Grand Ducal Police reported that a man was injured after a knife attack in Luxembourg City during the night from Friday 14 into Saturday 15 November 2025.
According to the police, the attack occurred on Avenue Victor Hugo in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg and involved a man who was injured with a knife by a former acquaintance.
The perpetrator initially fled the scene but was later apprehended on a bus on Avenue John F. Kennedy.
The public prosecutor’s office was informed and ordered the man’s arrest.
