The Grand Ducal Police have reported two arrests carried out in Luxembourg City’s station district on Monday 10 November 2025.
According to the police, in the late afternoon officers were alerted to a shop theft at a store on Avenue de la Gare. A person had reportedly stolen several cosmetic products and pieces of jewellery. The suspected perpetrator was promptly located by a police patrol, and the stolen goods were recovered. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the woman was arrested and brought before the investigating judge on the morning of Tuesday 11 November 2025.
Later that evening, at around 21:50, police officers encountered a man on Rue du Fort Elisabeth in the same district. As an arrest warrant had been issued against him, the officers took him into custody. Following a medical examination, he was transferred to the detention facility in Sanem (CPU).
