
The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on the morning of Sunday 19 October 2025, five vehicles were destroyed due to fire at Belval-Redingen railway station in Sanem.
According to the initial report, at approximately 06:20 on Sunday morning, the police were notified of a vehicle fire in the car park at the station. When the officers arrived on site alongside the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), five vehicles were already alight. The fire was brought under control shortly after.
In total, five vehicles were completely destroyed and a further one severely damaged. The technical police were instructed by the public prosecutor’s office to investigate the cause of the fire.
No one was injured in the incident.
