The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a brawl broke out at a service station on Route de Thionville in Luxembourg City on Thursday 16 October 2025.
Police were alerted to the incident at around 20:40 on Thursday. According to initial information, two men had become physically violent towards staff. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found that one man was increasingly uncooperative and he insulted them. Both men were taken to the police station for further action.
Since the men had arrived by car, officers decided to carry out a breathalyser test on the driver. The test came back positive and the man's driving licence was confiscated. Due to his intoxicated state, he was deemed a danger to himself and others and, following a medical examination, was placed in a temporary holding cell.
The police drew up a report against both men.
