The Grand Ducal Police have reported that they arrested a man who assaulted his former partner in Luxembourg City on Sunday 12 October 2025.
On Sunday evening, the police received reports of an assault in Luxembourg-Belair. According to initial information, a man had physically assaulted his ex-partner. A police patrol went to the scene and located the individuals reported.
After receiving treatment at the scene, the victim was taken to hospital for further medical attention.
The suspect was arrested by order of the public prosecutor's office and brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Monday 13 October 2025.
