On Thursday 9 October 2025, the Grand Ducal Police reported that five people were arrested following an assault in Luxembourg-Gare on Tuesday 7 October.
The police said that in the early hours of Tuesday they were notified of a man with facial injuries on Rue Joseph Junck in Luxembourg-Gare. According to initial information, the victim was approached by three individuals and subsequently attacked. After receiving first aid at the scene, the victim was taken to hospital for further treatment.
The police launched an immediate search and a patrol was able to locate five individuals in a vehicle shortly afterwards. The alleged perpetrators were taken to the police station for further official procedures.
On the instructions of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, all five suspects were arrested and brought before the investigating judge on the afternoon of Tuesday 7 October 2025.
