The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on Monday 6 October 2025, an international arrest warrant was executed following a shoplifting incident in Luxembourg City.
According to the initial report, at around 12:00 on Monday a shoplifting incident was reported at a store in Luxembourg-Ville. A police patrol located the two suspects shortly after and during a check, it was established that one of the two suspects was subject to an international arrest warrant.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office was informed and ordered the suspect’s arrest. He was brought before an investigating judge on the afternoon of Monday 6 October.
