Villeroy & Boch has announced that, as a supplier to the Grand Ducal Family, it will provide the fine porcelain dinnerware for the gala dinner on Friday 3 October 2025, when Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg celebrates the change of reign with invited guests.
According to the company, the gala dinner will be set with a collection developed especially for the Grand Ducal Family in 2000.
Villeroy & Boch noted that, for this occasion, it has also created a small bread plate with the monogram “GS”, designed exclusively for Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg. The tableware used at the gala dinner forms part of the Château Septfontaines collection, first developed in 2000 for the Grand Ducal Family.
The company added that, to mark the change of reign, special shop window displays are being presented in Luxembourg until Friday 17 October 2025. At Belle Etoile, a festively set table is on show, while the shop in Rue du Fossé features examples of exclusive court dinnerware designs from 1849 to the present day.
