The Grand Ducal Police have reported that from Saturday 27 through to Sunday 28 September 2025, they responded to over 60 instances of disturbances and disputes across the country.

In Luxembourg-Gare, police were alerted on Saturday afternoon to an intoxicated individual who was causing damage and harassing passers-by. The man was placed in a holding cell.

Also on Saturday, at approximately 21:40, a police patrol encountered another individual at the same location who was noticeably drunk, insulting people and causing a nuisance. Due to his behaviour, which amounted to a public order offence, as well as his drunken condition, he was taken into custody following a medical examination.

Shortly afterwards, at around 22:50 that evening, police received a report of an aggressive person in Rue an den Wissen in Livange. At the scene, officers encountered a man who was evidently under the influence of alcohol and behaving in an aggressive and uncooperative manner. As the individual posed a danger both to himself and to others, he was taken into custody after a medical check and placed in a holding cell.

The police remarked that in most cases, the situation had calmed down by the time officers arrived, no noise nuisance could be established or the matter was otherwise resolved.
