On Friday 26 September 2025, the Grand Ducal Police carried out a large-scale operation in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie which focused on drug and immigration legislation, as well as general police presence.
According to the police, a total of ten individuals were checked, with seven found to have committed offences.
During the operation, one warning with a fine was issued. Four reports were made for breaches of drug legislation with one of the individuals checked already being subject to a prior report.
Furthermore, one person was arrested for unlawful possession of a weapon along. A small quantity of drugs were also discovered. The drugs and the weapon were confiscated by officers and the suspect was presented to the examining magistrate on the morning of Friday 26 September 2025.
A total of eleven police officers, along with a police drug detection dog, were involved in the operation.
