On Friday 26 September 2025, the Grand Ducal Police reported that, as part of the Benelux Agreement, they had carried out checks together with their Belgian counterparts on Monday 22 September 2025 on the train route between Luxembourg and Namur (B) and back.

According to the initial report, the focus was on drug and immigration legislation, as well as on ensuring a general police presence in public transport within the Benelux area. 

In total, eleven people were checked on four trains. One person was found in possession of drugs, which were confiscated, and a report was drawn up for violation of drug legislation.
