The Grand Ducal Police have reported that they arrested a man who made death threats and attacked his partner with a firearm in Esch-sur-Alzette over the weekend.
On Saturday 15 February 2025, a woman went to the police stating that she had received death threats and had been hit with a firearm by her partner a few days earlier.
The police officers went to the couple's home address in Esch-sur-Alzette and were able to apprehend the man in front of the house.
During a subsequent search of the premises, the police secured and confiscated several weapons.
The suspect was arrested on the orders of the investigating judge.
