The Grand Ducal Police have confirmed that a 27-year-old woman was killed in an accident between a bus and a motorcycle near Clervaux on Saturday 24 August 2024.
The road traffic accident happened at around 12:30 on the CR327 between Mecher and Weicherdange.
According to the police, the motorcyclist, a 27-year-old woman from the Netherlands, died at the scene of the accident.
In order to determine the exact circumstances leading to accident, the public prosecutor's office ordered the police measurement and detection service to undertake a forensic examination of the crash site.
The road was closed to traffic for a period of time.
