The Grand Ducal Police have confirmed that a 32-year-old motorist lost their life in an accident on the CR119 near Imbringen in the early hours on Monday 1 July 2024.
The accident happened shortly after 05:00 between Imbringen in the direction of Altlinster. According to the police, initial information indicated that the driver lost control of their vehicle for unknown reasons, left the road and crashed into a tree.
The driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene of the accident.
Police technical staff were on site to determine the cause of the accident and the road was closed to traffic during the rescue work.
