The Grand Ducal Police have confirmed that a total of 190 incidents were reported nationwide on the night of Saturday 29 June 2024.
All incidents were in connection with the storm, most of which involved traffic obstructions caused by fallen trees or other obstacles.
In addition, around 20 traffic accidents were reported, although the damage was limited to material damage.
In addition, police assistance was requested in another 75 incidents due to disputes and other disturbances, mostly involving alcohol. Three burglaries, in Howald and Esch/Alzette (two), and five thefts from cars were reported. A shop in Luxembourg City was also broken into during this period.
