The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a stabbing incident took place at Luxembourg Railway Station on the afternoon of Friday 5 April 2024.
The perpetrator stabbed the victim in the leg with a knife, causing the latter minor injuries. The police managed to catch the suspect. During a body search, the police confiscated a knife and cannabis from the man. The public prosecutor ordered the suspect to be processed for identification purposes and a report to be drawn up.
The police also reported that, on Friday evening, an intoxicated person was found to be harassing customers and staff in a supermarket in Dudelange. A police patrol was able to find the man in question on-site. Since he was uncooperative with the officers, the latter decided to put him in custody to sober up.
Moreover, in the early hours of Saturday 6 April 2024, a police patrol in the Rocade de Bonnevoie in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie noticed a vehicle driving dangerously. The officers pulled over the vehicle a short time later. The driver's alcohol test was positive and his driver's licence was confiscated.
