On Wednesday 28 February 2026, the Grand Ducal Police confirmed that three men were arrested in Wasserbillig in connection with burglaries in the area.
On Tuesday evening, three men were reported to the police for acting suspiciously in Wasserbillig, "possibly in connection with burglaries or attempted burglaries" according to the police.
As part of a manhunt that was immediately initiated, the three suspects and their stolen property were located and caught.
On the orders of the public prosecutor, they were identified and arrested. On Wednesday morning, they were brought before a judge.
