Luxembourg's Veterinary and Food Administration (ALVA) has announced the recall of HEMA, Boni, Trader Joe’s and REWE “Chocolate Chip Cookies” products over concerns that they may contain pieces of metal.

The following products have been recalled from Luxembourg stores:

- REWE " Triple Chocolate Cookies", 200 g, with the expiry date 06/12/2024;

- Trader Joe’s “Cookies au chocolat au lait double" (double milk chocolate cookies), 200 g, with the expiry date 14/12/2024, sold between 20/12/2023 and 16/02/2024.

- Boni “Chocolate Cookies”, 225 g, with the expiry date 13/9/2024, sold between 28/12/2023 and 16/2/2024.

- HEMA “Chocolate Chip Cookies”, with the expiry date 12/9/2024.

The products in question were sold in Luxembourg across multiple stores.

If a foreign object, such as metal, is ingested, consumers are at risk of suffocation or internal injury.
