The Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) has announced that, following a long period of confinement, it will re-open its reception office on Place Guillaume II tomorrow, Monday 18 May 2020.

As a first step, the reception office will be open to the public every day from 10:00 - 17:00 on all days, including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

However, there will be no sale of souvenirs or other tourist products until further notice; also, the "Luxembourg Ticket" counter will also remain closed as guided tours will not yet re-start.

LCTO staff will continue to provide customers with brochures, leaflets and city maps on paper, while noting that all the information is available in digital form on its luxembourg-city.com website.

In order to maintain health and safety of staff and customers, a number of sanitary measures are being implemented. These include only one counter being open to the public and a maximum of 3 visitors allowed inside at the same time. In addition, a hand disinfection terminal is available at the entrance and one-way traffic with separate entry and exit is planned to support the 2 metres social distancing measures. Surfaces touched by visitors and reception staff are disinfected regularly and the counters are fitted with plexiglass panes. The reception staff also wear protective masks.

Entry to the LCTO reception office requires the wearing of a mask or other device to cover the nose and mouth.
