38-Year-Old Dies following Collision with Tree

In the early morning of Wednesday 22 May 2019, a single-vehicle traffic collision with a tree on the N12 in Luxembourg resulted in the death of one driver.

At about 05:30 on the N12, just ahead of the Quatre-Vents roundabout, the Luxembourg emergency services and police arrived on site following reports of a car accident. The incident involved a female driver, who strayed from the road on Route Dondelange in the last turn off the roundabout in the direction of Quatre-Vents and collided with a tree on the roadside.

The 38-year-old resident of Nospelt died at the scene as a result of her serious injuries. The road remained completely closed to traffic until just before 08:30 in order to allow the the emergency services to respond to the incident and clear up the scene.

The public prosecutor's office dealt has issued an accident investigation and requested an autopsy.
